General Program Information

The Health Professions Advising Office serves the entire university student population and provides advising to students striving to gain entrance into professional school.

Pre-health professions students can major in any area, and must fulfill the prerequisite requirements of each professional school. Successful applicants have majored in such diverse fields as art, music, engineering, economics, psychology, biology and chemistry.

Due to the volume of services provided by the office there is a program fee associated for students with more than 56 credits.  The fee is 50 dollars per semester until the student graduates from Arizona State University or ceases to use the offices services.  This fee covers unlimited access to all of the above services as well as any additional advising needs. 

The competitive nature of admission to these programs makes it essential for students to work closely with a health professions advisor from the beginning of their studies at ASU.
