Polytechnic campus

Arizona State University at the Polytechnic campus is a nexus for studies in integrative sciences and arts, engineering, management, technology and education. Industry partnerships are key to the campus’ distinctive course offerings, which provide opportunities for project-based learning within advanced laboratory spaces.

The Polytechnic campus is located near Dignity Health Arizona General Hospital, Mercy Gilbert Medical Center, Mountain Vista Medical Center, Banner Gateway Medical Center, and Banner Baywood Hospital.  Additionally, the Polytechnic campus is in close proximity to A.T. Still University which offers programs in osteopathic medicine, dentistry, occupational therapy, physical therapy, athletic training, and physician assistant.

Pre-Health 101 Workshop

Register to attend a Pre-Health 101 Workshop at the Polytechnic campus! Attendance at a Pre-Health 101 is required before a student can schedule a 1:1 meeting with a Pre-Health Advisor at the Tempe campus.

Meet your advisor

Jamie Eggerling, health advisor for the Polytechnic campus

Jamie Eggerling

Assistant Director of Academic Services

Jamie began working for ASU in 2012 and currently serves as the Assistant Director of Academic Advising for the College of Integrative Sciences and Arts at the Polytechnic campus. She has worked in higher education for over 10 years and has experience advising students in 25+ majors at the Poly campus as well as online. She loves working with her staff and students to assist them with their individual goals and is dedicated to student success. Jamie is a proud ASU Alum with a Bachelor's degree in Interdisciplinary Studies with concentrations in Psychology and Communication and a Master’s degree in Education.

In her free time, Jamie loves to cook, take pictures, travel, and spend time with her friends and family.

 

Melody Bernstein, health advisor for the Polytechnic campus

Melody Bernstein

Academic Success Coordinator

Melody graduated from the University of South Florida with a B.S. in Hospitality Management and a minor in General Business Administration. After graduating, she worked professionally in the hospitality industry for two years and then went back to school to earn her Master's in Higher Education Leadership from Florida Atlantic University. She has several years of experience in academic advising, event planning, career services, Greek life, and other higher education areas. Melody is the current Academic Success Coordinator for the College of Integrative Sciences & Arts at the Polytechnic campus.

In Melody's free time, she likes fitness classes and hanging out with her dog.
