Tempe Campus

The historic Arizona State University at the Tempe campus offers hundreds of majors that engage undergraduates and graduates in multidisciplinary research and exploration in first-rate laboratories and facilities. The energetic environment of the campus comprises broad pedestrian malls and eclectic architecture set amid subtropical landscaping.

Tempe campus is located near several medical facilities including St. Luke’s Hospital and HonorHealth Medical Group. Additionally, the Tempe campus houses the Biodesign Institute which is comprised of 16 centers including Innovations in Medicine, the Virginia G. Piper Center for Personalized Diagnostics, Molecular Design and Biomimetics, the ASU-Banner Neurodegenerative Disease Research Center, and the Biodesign Center for Immunotherapy, Vaccines, and Virotherapy.

Kayla Johnson

Program Manager, Pre-Professional Advising

Kayla joined Pre-Professional Advising at Arizona State University in January 2021. She earned her Master's in Educational Leadership from North Dakota State University and her Bachelor’s in Business Administration with an emphasis in Marketing from Washburn University. She appreciates that her role in pre-professional advising allows her to connect with students and alumni at any point in their pre-professional journey, learning about their backgrounds and experiences and celebrating their successes. She enjoys traveling, making memories with family, crafting, and spending time with her dog, Annie.

Nicki Langley

Academic Success Advisor, Pre-Health

Nicki has worked at Arizona State University since 2020. She previously worked in admission services on the transfer and graduate team. She is excited to begin her journey in assisting students on their pre-health journey. Nicki is an ASU alumnus and graduated in 2020 with her degree in Health Sciences. She is also currently in the Masters program here at ASU in Educational Policy. Outside of work Nicki enjoys spending time with her dog Kyro.


Mary Nadarski

Senior Director, The Futures Center

Mary Nadarski has been with the Pre-Professional Advising Office since 2011. She advises students pursuing either healthcare or law. She loves meeting with students to discuss their individual goals and assisting them in crafting competitive applications to professional school. Application season is her favorite time of year. Mary received her Master's of Education in Higher Education from Arizona State University and her Bachelor's of Science in Recreation, Sport, and Tourism from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. She previously worked at the Walt Disney World Resort where she was an attractions hostess at Dinosaur: The Ride in Disney's Animal Kingdom Theme Park. When not advising students, Mary enjoys attending baseball and soccer games, traveling, exploring new restaurants, and of course, Disney World.
