West Valley campus

Arizona State University at the West Valley campus creates a learning community blending liberal arts education with 21st-century workforce preparation. The northwest Phoenix campus provides modern amenities in its residence halls, dining facilities, and the Sun Devil Fitness Complex and swimming pool. Subtropical landscaping, fountains and outdoor enclaves are third-space opportunities for students to socialize or collaborate while pursuing any of more than 50 undergraduate and graduate degree programs.

West Valley campus is located near several medical facilities including Banner Thunderbird Medical Center, Banner Boswell Medical Center, and Dignity Health AZ General Hospital Emergency Room.  Additionally, West Valley campus is in close proximity to Midwestern University which offers programs in osteopathic medicine, pharmacy, physician assistant, physical therapy, occupational therapy, podiatric medicine, optometry, and veterinary medicine.

Pre-Health appointments are scheduled through E2E. Please note there are two different links, one specifically for New College and the second link for College of Health Solutions. 


Meet your West Valley campus advisors

Diane Mallory

Diane Mallory

Manager, Internships & Pre-Professional Services

Diane has worked at Arizona State University since 2015 and has worked in higher education since 1998.  Before pre-professional advising, she has worked as a program manager for Thunderbird School of Global Management and Watts College of Public Service and Community Solutions in executive education, grant funded and international management programs. Now she advises New College pre-health and pre-law students and alumni across a wide range of majors in their pursuit of their professional goals.  Diane earned her Bachelor of Science in Business Administration and her Master of Business Administration (Global Management) from the University of Phoenix.   Outside of advising, Diane volunteers with a local wildlife rehabilitation center and enjoys traveling and hiking.

Ryan Vann

Assistant Director of Academic Services
Pre-Health Services

Ryan has been advising with College of Health Solutions since October 2014, where he previously served as an Academic Success Advising Coordinator Senior. In that role he was the advising coordinator for our health sciences degree program and provided exceptional advising services to many of our pre-health students from various majors. Ryan also has experience as the downtown vice president of the Council of Academic Advisors, served on the Residency Appeals Committee, and currently serves on the CHS Staff Success Council. Ryan is a global advocacy certificate recipient and received the Council of Academic Advisors: Experienced Advisor of the Year award in 2019. Ryan enjoys spending time with his family, cooking and attending/watching baseball and basketball games.

Brandon Hardy

Academic Success Advising Coordinator, Pre-Health

Whether it is gaming, fighting to be the best, or sitting back and watching the scariest or funniest movie of the year, connecting and building relationships are at the forefront of who is Brandon Hardy. Originally from Arkansas, Brandon began his journey into education as a financial aid counselor. After 3 years, he began the move to Arizona to continue his career in higher education at ASU. “I know what it means to be a first-generation student trying to navigate the exciting yet tumultuous world of college…I want to help students navigate that journey and find their connect in Pre-Health.”
