Chiropractic College Application Service (ChiroCAS)

The application process may vary between programs and not all chiropractic programs will participate in ChiroCAS. Chiropractic programs may have different deadlines and may accept applications throughout the year. It is recommended that you submit the ChiroCAS application one year prior to your desired start. It is important for you as the student to check with individual programs regarding their application process.

Personal statement

Review of personal statement offered by Pre-Health Office.

Letters of recommendation (LOR)

Identify people who know you well and can firmly comment on your ability as a medical student and future physician. Chiropractic programs may favor having at least 1 letter of recommendation from a practicing chiropractor (D.C.). Chiropractic programs will request letters of recommendation after you submit your primary or ChiroCAS application. Ask in advance and give your letter writers sufficient time to complete and submit. Also, remember to stay in touch with letter writers who you may also ask in the future!

After you submit your ChiroCAS

After Chiropractic schools have received your primary ChiroCAS application, they may invite you to complete a secondary or supplemental application along with fees. It is important that you are aware of deadlines, complete and submit supplemental applications as soon as possible.

Mock interviews

Schedule mock interview with Pre-Health Office your senior year
